Welcome to our brand new website! We aim to be the number one site for all things lampshades as well as other interior accessories.  Just to let you know all of our lampshades are hand made in England, by our experienced craftsmen and all materials used are sourced from the UK. A brief bit of background, Shadestudios has humble beginnings, we started trading in 2012 on e-commerce websites and have had some really positive feedback from customers. We have an extensive range of lampshades, in a variety of colours and materials.

It isn't all work and no play here at the studio, sometimes it helps to loosen up a little, gets the creative juices flowing.  So... Spring is right around the corner, which can only mean flower-power lampshades and hay fever! I'll give you a heads-up as soon as the shades are ready.

Oh how could I forget, we've also got some other interesting lampshades in the pipeline, they're currently in the testing phase, where we can test them out and ensure they meet our quality standards. Also, I'm just waiting for the go-ahead from the big man to allow me to list something different. Details soon come.

You know the phrase "old is gold"  I know, it's over-used but I think it applies to our new and limited number of retro lights. They are in a variety of different designs, including a classical football, pink peace camper van, red camper van, red London bus and my personal favourite the classic yellow mini with a union jack on the roof and, the best bit.. White walls! 

 

When testing them out, they looked spectacular when lit together as a collection. I think each individual light has its own personal characteristics and charm.

 

The pink peace camper van is a throwback to the 60's and 70's with the peace signs, rusty looks and flower design, whereas the mini and the London bus oozes class and they both have a distinct charm about them. 

 

I believe all of the retro lights would make for brillian feature or accessory in a child's bedroom or even in a living room.
